Is John Galliano Headed to Oscar de la Renta?

"Would you forgive John Galliano?" is the question everyone in the fashion industry is asking, and it looks like Oscar de la Renta's answer is a resounding yes. WWD reports that the disgraced Dior designer is in talks with de la Renta about a permanent position. Galliano recently completed a three-week residency with de la Renta, working on his fall/winter 2014 collection.

De la Renta CEO Alex Bolen released the following statement: "As we have said before, we are deeply impressed with John's talent and would love to find a way to work with him in the future. To date, we have not found that way."

Regardless of what happens, de la Renta is a deeply respected designer in the industry, and his support for Galliano is sure to have a major influence in Galliano's comeback.
