She's Perfectly Happy When Adam's Not Around

Based on its trailer, the second half of Teen Mom 2's fifth season should bring viewers no shortage of drama. Whether it's tears, fears, or shrieking at the top of their lungs, we can expect plenty of new surprises. All the usual suspects will be returning to the show, including Chelsea Houska, who's main goal this season seems to be maintaining a stable lifestyle for herself and her 3-year-old daughter, Aubree.

It's been three months since the close of the first half of the season. Since then, there's been some news about Chelsea's ex-boyfriend Adam's legal problems, which are bound to affect his co-parenting relationship with Chelsea. However, this season's trailer also shows a very surprising conflict: some feuding between Chelsea and Aubree. Aubree may have screamed about not liking her mommy anymore, but Chelsea's Instagram shows nothing but signs of their usually close relationship, including happy faces, pool floaties, sun, and.. kale chips?

With the show returning on July 16th, you'll want to know what Chelsea and Aubree have been up to since you last saw them on MTV, so I've compiled a little cheat sheet. Let's take a moment to enjoy all of the highs Chelsea is experiencing right now, and we'll let Teen Mom 2 take care of the (likely Adam-related) lows.

AUBREE IS A TINY T-BALL QUEEN

Aubree has ditched her tiara and picked up t-ball in its place. The little one was cheered on from the sidelines by her proud mommy.

This inseparable pair is taking advantage of all that summer has to offer. Armed with floaties and their favorite sunglasses, Aubree and Chelsea look like they're having a blast.

Before getting a few slobbery kisses from Phil, Chelsea executed a perfect cat eye with her eyeliner. This is something after 22 years that I still struggle with, so you bet I'll be tuning into Teen Mom to see how she does it. Teach me your ways, Chelsea!

SHE'S A REGISTERED ESTHETICIAN

After seeing her struggle to balance school and caring for Aubree, it's exciting to see Chelsea officially become an esthetician.

After a long day, it's nice to kick back with a few brews. Chelsea feels us on this one.

A LITTLE REMINISCING IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL

Newborn babies can make even the toughest person break out into a chorus of awwww's. They're just so cute, especially baby Aubree.

BYE BYE BLONDE & HELLO RED

Chelsea ditched her blonde locks for a more Jessica Rabbit-inspired hairdo. Looks like Aubree is the only blondie in the bunch these days.

You'll have to tune in to the premiere to see what else Chelsea is up to. I know I'm wishing her and the adorable Aubree nothing but the best when Season 5 returns.
