Christy's Fiance Todd Is the Real Star

Probably the biggest storyline on the first season of Little Women: LA , at least the one we're constantly reminded of, is the impending nuptials between Christy McGinity and Todd Gibel. From the minute we met Christy, she was constantly urging Todd to put a ring on it, and when he finally did, Christy couldn't help but show off her ring every chance she got, and start her own "bride wars" with frenemy Traci Harrison, who is also engaged. Whether Christy dropped major hints that she wanted a ring or argued in public about Terra Jole's "Booty Bee" music video shoot, Todd stood by her. In fact, he seems to be just as outspoken as his often-troublemaking soon-to-be wife. It's a match made in reality TV heaven.

When Christy had her pregnancy scare earlier this season, we learned more about Todd's past as he opened up about the death of his baby, Chloe, hours after being born due to inheriting the same dwarfism gene from him and his then-wife. Other than his love for Christy and blowing up at Terra, we haven't learned much else about Todd from the show, but we certainly want to know more. Here's six things you should know about the man Christy won't stop talking about.

He and Christy met online

Like their "friends" Traci and her fiance Erik Tsou, Todd and Christy met online, which means they actually have something in common with Traci and Erik. We can't believe it either.

He's from Ohio

Todd moved to L.A. to be with Christy after their relationship got serious, but he's originally from the Buckeye State. And he loves the Cleveland sports teams, the Cavaliers, the Indians, and the Browns.

His memorial to his late daughter is heartbreaking

Addressed to all of those who showed support to Todd after the episode aired in which he discussed his daughter's passing, Todd tweeted a link to Pearl Jam performing the song "Come Back" and included the message, "I'd like to share her song with you :)"

He Might Have dated Briana Manson

In the first episode of the season, Briana thought it was a bit awkward to see Todd at a barbecue with Christy since the two had sort of dated in the past. And she was right. It was. But after that brief moment, everyone seemed to move past it. So much so that Christy asked Briana to be her Maid of Honor at her wedding. Traci got really upset and criticized Christy's choice, partly because of Briana's past with Todd, so clearly someone isn't okay with the whole thing.

The only thing that would have made this better is if Todd was wearing a hat and beard to make him look like Abraham Lincoln. He's already got the outfit for it.

He's Working on His Fitness

Todd and Christy are trying to diet and exercise as a couple on Little Women: LA. He tweeted on June 24 that he has lost 30 pounds. Looks like those shoe-flavored smoothies are working.
