Joseph Gordon-Levitt Is Such A Chameleon
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the stuff teenage dreams are made of, isn't he? Whether he was winning hearts as Cameron in 10 Things I Hate About You, or making all of the doe-eyed Zooey Deschanel wannabes clutch their ukeleles to their chests in 500 Days of Summer, he's been a heartthrob for anyone in their formative years. But even though JGL has always been charming, his looks constantly change in his movies. Case in point: Gordon-Levitt recently posted a photo on Facebook as he films To Walk The Clouds, the upcoming Robert Zemeckis movie starring Gordon-Levitt as a brave tightrope walking man, and he looks quite different. Maybe it's the newly acquired ginger-tinted hair.
But seriously — this guy changes his look for almost every movie he's in. Not many guys can do that and still retain their charm, ya know? So let's take a look at some of the Many Faces of Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Granted, the changes aren't that extreme, but hey, don't you wanna look at photos of JGL? Thought so.
Let's start with the pic that he shared on Facebook. He's not only sporting the aforementioned red-tinted hair, he's also rocking a turtle neck. So few people can pull of turtle necks (especially red ones) but Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Man of Many Looks Who Still Always Looks Good, can. Take a look:
And now, let us rewind into the past and take a look at the Many Other Faces of JGL:
Don Jon
It's the beater, really.
Looper
Wax on, wax off (as in, a prosthetic nose — The NY Daily News reports he spent hours in the makeup chair to play the younger Bruce Willis).
The Dark Knight Rises
In uniform.
500 Days of Summer
May all of your twee, indie rock dreams come true.
Inception
So slick.
50/50
No hair.
3rd Rock From The Sun
So much hair. And so much puberty. And while we're talking about quintessential teen moments...
10 Things I Hate About You
Ah, puberty. The greatest "different look" of all.
