Celebs React To The World Cup Finish
Well, that's all folks! The World Cup is officially dunzo in the words of Kristin Cavallari, but not without an extremely theatrical finish with one goal in extra time. After four weeks of fist-clenching, cheek-biting, and heart palpitations, the drama has culminated to one final decision — and that is that the German footballers are the world champions. A very well-deserved title, if you ask me. But just because I see the merit in Germany's football (or soccer, whatevs) prowess, doesn't mean that everyone feels that way. Case in point: Some very vocal celebrities took to Twitter to share either their joy, respect, or overall confusion. After all, they do know drama better than anyone else. It is their day jobs.
After a whole championship game without scoring, it's understandable that tensions were high. It could have very literally gone either way, but ultimately the Germans clenched it, or rather Mario Goetze did. And people went wild. But who were the stars that got so hyped-up about a little old game of ball? Some of the celebs may surprise you, but honestly, the World Cup got us all a bit excited, didn't it?
