Get Ready for These Kardashian Games
Remember when we all found out that Kim Kardashian was releasing a video game and we laughed so hard that we nearly wet ourselves? Especially when the game actually came out, prompting Bustle's own Kristie Rohwedder to play Kim Kardashian Hollywood so you didn't have to? Well, it appears that our laughter may have come too soon, because, far from being the most bizarre venture for the Kardashian clan to undertake, Kardashian's iPhone game stands to make $200 million this year. No, this is not a joke.
Jezebel describes the game as "humiliatingly addictive" and that's the impression you might have gotten from the fact that it takes about five hours to play, which, considering it's mostly buying clothes and going to places you can't get into in real life, tend to fly by a lot more quickly than you'd think. However, there's a difference between being a mild blip on the world's radar and making $200 million. That's what we call a resounding success.
Kris Jenner is the ultimate momager, so there's no way that she's not going to capitalize on the success of Kim's game by releasing iPhone games for the other members of the Kardashian clan. Are you ready for a Kendall and Kylie Jenner video game? And what would it even be about? We've figured it out.
Kanye West
In Kanye West Hollywood, you will play as an up-and-coming rap artist who is being mentored by West. As you listen to his 15-minute rants on the music industry and steal microphones from an avatar that looks suspiciously like Taylor Swift, you must decide for yourself whether or not you have what it takes to be the next Kanye West... And if you even want to.
North West
In North West Hollywood, you will discover that you are never too young to start making your family money. You'll create your own baby to be North's official companion as her family flies her from Paris to Italy to America and slaps both your faces on the cover of magazines. Make sure to look super unimpressed about it.
Khloé Kardashian
In Khloé Kardashian Hollywood, you will play as Khloé's new BFF and join her as she tries to open up another boutique of her own similar to DASH. Along the way, prepare for a lot of photo shoots and ad campaigns and make sure you generate lots of controversy by posing with guns and wearing Native American headdresses for bonus points.
Kourtney Kardashian
In Kourtney Kardashian Hollywood, you will play as an aspiring reality television show star who gets taken under Kourtney's wing as she teaches you how to ream out the paparazzi and sass with the best of them. If you play your cards right, you might even get to be there to help name the latest baby Kardashian-Disick over the course of the game.
Scott Disick
In Lord Disick, a game which requires no further subtitle, you actually get to play as Scott Disick and, your sole aim in the game is to make as much money as humanly possible and then talk about it to anyone who will listen. You don't even have to be seen working. Just relax, bring the sass, and count those dolla dolla bills, y'all.
Kendall Jenner & Kylie Jenner
In Kylie and Kendall Hollywood, you will star as a teen model who is looking to ghostwrite their next novel for them. The more ad campaigns you do and amazing outfits you put together, the more likely it is that Kendall and Kylie will choose you to write their book. Bonus points can be collected for posting wildly inappropriate bikini selfies.
Rob Kardashian
In Rob Kardashian Hollywood, you will play as Rob's potential girlfriend who must charm him with your strong Twitter presence, amazing outfits, musical talent, and love of socks. If you play your cards right, Rob's next venture after the line of socks will have both your names attached to it.
Brody Jenner
In Brody Jenner Hollywood, you will play as the newest star of The Hills 2: Take Back the Hills with Brody as your costar and potential love interest. Unlike the other games, there's probably no chance of a cameo from the other members of the Kardashian clan in this game. Brody did exclude them from his family photo in June, after all.
