By now, you're probably sick of hearing about today's Emmy Award nominations everywhere you go — but one more little story about it that involves the lovely ladies of Orange Is the New Black is worth it, isn't it? In posts on social media, the ladies of Orange Is the New Black revealed how they're celebrating their Emmy nominations, and that yes — actual oranges are involved. Obviously.
Series star Laverne Cox, who was nominated in the Guest Actress in a Comedy Series category, posted this cute shot of her and fellow Guest Actress in a Comedy Series nominee, Uzo Aduba, on Instagram, captioned: "Sharing #Emmy love with fellow nominee and Co - star powerhouse @uzoaduba . Congrats girl. Love you. Love @oitnb #EmmyNoms. #NoMakeup." A few moments later, Cox posted another photo with herself, Aduba, Emma Myles, Dascha Polanco, and Danielle Brooks, captioned, "Celebrating our show's 12 count em 12 #EmmyNoms with @uzoaduba @daniebb3 @sheisdash and @emmacat photobombing. I love you ladies so much.@oitnb."
Star Adrienne C. Moore, who portrays Cindy Hayes in the series, also shared a few photos including the entire cast — and oranges.
