I know that, logically, I should not be excited for Sharknado 2: The Second One. The film, much like the first one, makes no claims to be anything more than a terrible movie that's airing on the Syfy network, and everyone knows that terrible movies that air on the Syfy network aren't something you actually anticipate the release of. And yet, here I am...super, super excited, because Sharknado 2: The Second One has released a new trailer, and it's especially awful whilst simultaneously especially amazing. What else are we to expect from a film literally about a tornado filled with sharks invading New York City?
So, what does this new trailer give us? Yes, more misinformation about what it's like to physically be in NYC, but, then again, I can kind of forgive that because there's also a shark tornado in this movie. It also gives us more awesomely fake bloodshed, and the catchphrase "Holy shark," which oh my God I need to use in every situation ever now.
You can check out the new trailer below. Sharknado 2: The Second One will premiere on Syfy on July 30 — and I totally know you're counting down for this one.
