Raise Your Glass in Honor of Lena

You guys! Finally. If you were watching Season 4 of Game of Thrones, eyeballs open and all, then you know that this was Lena Headey's season. The actress kicked ass as she conveyed Cersei Lannister's super complex emotional turmoil — (spoilers ahead!) her son died, after all, in that notorious Purple Wedding. Cersei also never ceased to manipulate with her twisted, scheming ways, all while struggling with her love for her handless brother-lover. Monologue after monologue, wine glass after wine glass, Headey knocked audiences dead with her fierce portrayal. And finally —finally — the Emmys have acknowledged Headey's sharp work, and have granted her an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

So, what's the best way to celebrate Headey's nomination? By doing what Cersei loves to do most (and what Headey has admitted she does quite frequently, too) — drinking! And what better time to do it than now, since Westeros inspired wine is on the market?

Grab yourself a goblet fit for a Queen Regent, and pour yourself some red wine. Or, since it may be a tad early to dive head first into the booze, let's celebrate Headey's nomination with some of the best GIFs of Cersei drinking. Because in a television season that was chock full of super kick ass women — like, we're talking some serious lady-power with some massively feminist characters — only so many women can receive a nomination, and this actress totally deserves this recognition.
