She's Photoshop's Latest Victim

From her big baby blue eyes and dark hair combo to her adorable personality and funny sense of humor, Zooey Deschanel is just about too cute. But on In Style's latest cover, Zooey Deschanel is photoshopped so much that she looks nothing like the New Girl actress that's been stealing our hearts. It's evident that this August cover has taken some serious Photoshop hits that are shocking, ridiculous, and totally uncalled for. Her face looks...kind of flat. And blurry. And definitely not adorkable whatsoever.

Despite the entire Internet having a collective conniption fit every time a magazine goes overboard with the editing, they keep on doing it. Lady Gaga's December 2013 cover of Glamour sparked Photoshop debate at Glamour's Women of the Year Awards. Even poor Prince George was allegedly Photoshopped on the cover of Us Weekly — and his is a baby. But back to Deschanel, fans are, obviously, not pleased. The Gloss reported that many of Deschanel's fans were outraged by the cover and took to Twitter to share their concerns.

Unfortunately there are no pictures from the original photo shoot to compare with the final version to get a better sense of the image altering that took place, but pretty much any photo of Deschanel from the red carpet or IG will prove my/Twitter's point. Maybe the untouched photos will leak after all the hoopla — like Lady Gaga's Versace ad pics. But even without her bangs, Deschanel has never been this unrecognizable. What the heck, guys.
