'RHONY': 'Mean Girls' in Montana

From the start of this whole Montana excursion, the Real H ousewives of New York have acted, for a lack of a better phrase, like a bunch of spoiled rotten brats. Okay, I suppose not all of them, but damn near close to the whole group. And, I get it, it's Montana. They're facing the elements in a posh lodge, they don't have a waitstaff some of the time, and they had to sleep in a king-sized bed in a huge tent overlooking a beautiful mountainside. Life is hard. But it makes you wonder why a group of grown women would decide to go on a trip across the country to the middle of nowhere, with no escape, to do something they clearly hated if all they were going to do was be, well, mean.

Kristen had planned this out of the ordinary trip and seemed genuinely excited about it. So I couldn't help but feel sorry for her when the women constantly complained. It felt like a direct reflection on her that they weren't enjoying it, which was later proven when Ramona proclaimed that Kristen was a crap hostess. Ouch. If the other Housewives didn't want to come, all they had to do was get a case of emergency asthma like Aviva, duh.

However what I noticed most about their trip to Montana (besides the constant complaining) were the overwhelming parallels to Mean Girls, with the seasoned ladies sniffing out the fresh meat for them to pounce on. Like Cady, Kristen's still trying to navigate girl world and is getting a quick and hard lesson from the ultimate Plastics.

Here's what happened, as told by Mean Girls.

KRISTEN WAS PUMPED FOR MONTANA, TRYING TO GET THE GIRLS TO DO SOMETHING NEW. BUT THEY WERE ALL LIKE:

THEN KRISTEN FELT THE NEED TO PROVE HERSELF TO THE HOUSEWIVES (AND HEATHER) BY REPELLING DOWN A MOUNTAIN. BUT IT SORTA WENT LIKE THIS:

AND HEATHER WAS ALL LIKE:

WHICH REALLY PISSED KRISTEN OFF, SO SHE KINDA WANTED TO DO THIS:

Okay, not quite as intense as that...

THEN RAMONA MADE KRISTEN FEEL EVEN MORE ALIENATED BY TELLING HER SHE SUCKED AS A HOSTESS

SO OBVIOUSLY, KRISTEN LOST IT AND TOLD HEATHER SHE WAS CONTROLLING

HEATHER WAS REALLY WOUNDED BY THE COMMENT, SO SHE TURNED THE TABLES ON KRISTEN LIKE THIS:

AND AFTER A HUGE FIGHT AND MUCH CONTEMPLATION, THE GIRLS CAME TO THIS REALIZATION:
