5 Weird Plastic Surgery Stories

Last week we reported on human Jessica Rabbit Penny Brown, the infamous woman who went through multiple plastic surgery procedures to make herself look like her idol. But she's not the first person who has transformed herself to look like a fictional character, and she surely won't be the last. Here are some photos of devout fans who have gone under the knife to change their identities. Whether this is an abuse of plastic surgeries powers, an apocalyptic vision of what absurd body standards can do, or a new art form, is up to you. Personally, I could never relate to the motives that have inspired these "masterpieces."

1. Anastasiya Shpagina

Shpagina, a Ukrainian teenager, has walked straight out of a Sailor Moon episode. Or so it appears. Her appearance is the product of extensive plastic surgery, and 30 minute sessions of applying eye makeup.

2. Jacqueline Koh

Koh has had 10 plastic surgeries to look like her favorite anime character.

“I didn’t write about my procedures to become famous,” she says. “I wanted to help women become as beautiful as me or even more beautiful. When I was doing research for operations, people weren’t that open to sharing their experiences.”

3. Justin Jedlica

Jedlica is identical to Ken in every way, except for the lack of genitalia.

4. Valeria Lukyanova

Life size Barbie is a real thing, her name is Valeria Lukyanova. She has the face, hair, and proportions of every girl’s favorite doll.
