He's "Still Madly Crazy" For Her
We already thought it was pretty creepy that Robin Thicke was publicly trying to win back his estranged wife Paula Patton with an album titled Paula, but now that we've seen the full track listing courtesy of MTV.com, we've gotta say, he's laying it on pretty thick. (Sorry. So, so sorry for that.) The tracks for Paula, which is slated for a July 1 release, include songs like the title track "Get Her Back," as well as "Still Madly Crazy," "Love Can Grow Back," "You're My Fantasy," and "Forever Love." Or, is it all too little too late? (No, really, one of the songs is called "Too Little Too Late.")
The couple split in early 2014 amid rumors of infidelity and that infamous VMA performance with Miley Cyrus that's forever seared into our brains, and the "Blurred Lines" singer has been trying to win back his wife of nine years ever since. According to MTV, which also revealed the cover of Paula (a solemn-looking Robin looks down at her name) the Grammy-winning R&B star recently told Steve Harvey during his radio show, "I gotta impress her somehow." Well, here's to hoping 14 songs wins her over more than dozens of flowers.
Here's the full track listing for Paula:
1. "You’re My Fantasy"2. "Get Her Back"3. "Still Madly Crazy"4. "Lock the Door"5. "Whatever I Want"6. "Living in New York City"7. "Love Can Grow Back"8. "Black Tar Cloud"9. "Too Little Too Late"10. "Tippy Toes"11. "Something Bad"12. "The Opposite of Me"13. "Time of Your Life"14. "Forever Love"
Yeah, Robin, we'd say you did "Something Bad" alright. While Paula seems like it has more than enough songs/pleas, here are some B-sides we hope to see for the album:
— "I Promise I'll Never, Ever Sing 'Blurred Lines' Again If You Just Respond To My Texts"
— "Growing Pains Isn't Just a Show, Girl"
— "Canada's Answer to Justin Timberlake Still Really Loves You, Eh"
