Dress Like This 'Stick It' Star

It's officially wedding season. How do I know this? The first top-secret celebrity nuptial ceremony was announced last weekend, courtesy of couple Missy Peregrym and Zachary Levi. A more likable couple is difficult to imagine, thanks to Peregrym's performance in the cult classic Stick It, and Levi's lovable portrayal of the title character in Chuck. In true covert ops fashion, the couple executed what Peregrym wittily labeled a "coffee date" in Maui, which consisted of one ethereal, beaded Amanda Wakeley gown, one Reiss suit, and one very happy couple. An amazing coffee date, indeed!

However, one can't wear a backless white silk gown every day of the year, and Peregrym's daily style is much more relaxed than her intricate bridal gown would suggest. The Rookie Blue actress favors menswear-inspired separates on the red carpet mixed with ultra-feminine details from a dramatic peep-toe heel to a splash of pink in an all-black ensemble. So unless you're planning on wearing an embroidered maxi dress to your next morning meeting, try channeling Missy's more laid-back red carpet look as inspiration for your summer wardrobe. Perhaps you'll gain a bit of that legendary Stick It attitude in the process.

1. HOT PINK BLAZER
