8 Things Cara's Sunnies Look Like

by Sara Tan

On Tuesday, supermodel and It girl extraordinaire Cara Delevingne stepped out on the London streets wearing an unusual ensemble. And while her decision to pair blue parrot pants with a knitted beanie (Chanel, naturally) was pretty unusual, all eyes were on Delevingne's sunglasses: A yellow pair of oversized specs with an incredibly intricate design on the lenses. And while they are pretty high fashion, they're also highly unordinary (which, at this point, is totally expected from the risk-taking fashionista).

I have a few questions concerning her funky eyepieces. First of all, where are they from? Could this be another yet-to-be-released style gifted to her from one of the many luxury fashion houses she models for? Or is it from one of those cheap sunglasses stands at the swap meet? Secondly, can she even see out of them? It seems rather difficult and annoying to have to look through lenses with a pattern overlay on them. I'm all for bizarre eyewear, but these just seem above and beyond impractical. Lastly, is she trying to be weird or does she actually consider these fashionable?

Either way, snaps to Delevingne for never conforming to the norm. And because I love her fashion-forwardness so much, here are a handful of things that her sunglasses remind me of.
