Is He Leaving Her... For India?

Maks and Meryl shippers, hold your breath for a bit because it looks like one half of the ultimate dream dance couple is going away for awhile. Maks Chermkovskiy is going to India to be a guest judge on Dancing with The Stars India — officially called Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, and no, there's no word if Meryl Davis will be joining him. Judging by his recent Instagram photo, it looks like he'll be off doing this by himself. Cue Celine Dion's chest-pounding rendition of "All By Myself," please.

But fear not! He'll only serve as a guest judge, which means he'll be coming back before we know it. But we've got to wonder: now that we've officially entered Post Dancing With The Stars Season 18, Life After The Mirrorball, will he have that sort of showmance — that chemistry he had with Meryl — with another dance partner? It's a possibility — we know that science says the two should be together because two dancers equals one hot relationship, but if he finds another dancer, who knows what will happen?

Unfortunately, even though we've already figured out the details for their wedding should they decide to actually go through with that, this trip seems like another dart in the Maks and Meryl Pinerest board. He already was spotted with Kate Upton, and even though he insists their "just friends," it seems like further proof that our dream couple may just be that: a couple in our dreams.

Maks is doin' his post-Season 18 thing, Meryl or no Meryl. We'll still keep our fingers crossed, but for now, the only news we'll be getting from the Chmerkovskiy side of things will be his Instagram updates.

Perhaps it was just a showmance after all...
