It's a metaphor, you see. How many times have you heard that in the past few weeks? The film adaptation of John Green's The Fault in Our Stars premiered on June 6 and, if you've already seen it, you're probably still drowning in your tears. Ansel Elgort's Augustus Waters and his love of the metaphor spawned hundreds of memes all over the Internet — so many that even John Green has a favorite. And while they're all hilarious, this perfect Divergent and TFiOS mash-up meme will help you finally crack a smile after having your heart beautifully broken by the film.

Did you forget that Elgort also starred in Divergent with his TFiOS costar Shailene Woodley? It's okay, we forgive you — you aren't held accountable for anything you do, say, or forget while under the influence of John Green. Well, Elgort did star in Divergent (he was Woodley's Tris' brother, Caleb) as did the equally swoon-worthy Theo James, who played Four. Do you see where we're going with this yet?

A fan of both popular YA films made an epic play on words that linked both films and created the ultimate Divergent meets TFiOS meme.
