This 'Gone Girl' Star's Knocked Up
There's still months to go before the much-anticipated big-screen adaptation of Gone Girl hits theaters, but its star's got big news already: Rosamund Pike is pregnant! Pike, 35, has one previous child — Solo, age 2 — whom she had with boyfriend Robie Uniacke. Pike and Uniacke, who is a researcher, have been together since 2009.
Pike's most well-known up to this point as a "Bond Girl" in Die Another Day, as well as Carey Mulligan's older friend in An Education and Jane Bennet in the 2005 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. She'll likely be making an even bigger impact on audiences once Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl hits theaters this coming October.
Directed by The Social Network and House Of Card's David Fincher, Gone Girl follows the story of a married couple as the wife goes missing. The husband will be played by Ben Affleck, the wife by Pike. It's a story she might not wanna show to her little kids until they're much older.
In her personal life, Pike and Uniacke don't have to deal with marital drama, in that they're happily unmarried. As she told Vogue in 2011: "It is interesting to break all the rules. I'm not married, I have a baby, and it feels infinitely more right."
You do you, girl!
