Their New Pacsun Line Is Actually Awesome

Believe it or not, Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s new clothing line is actually wearable. I don't just mean wearable for their teen superfans. I mean that after viewing some of the looks you may find yourself running to a nearby PacSun to score some of these pieces. Kendall and Kylie’s line includes pieces that have us ready to take on summer and the various warm weather plans that are already on your calendar. Plus, everything in the collection is below $50, so you can snag up embellished tap shorts, muscle tanks, and crochet tops on the cheap.

This new line of very affordable pieces is different from their past collections with designs that seem to be evolving with their own personal styles. In an interview with Teen Vogue, Kendall and Kylie talked more about this style evolution and shared their favorite pieces from the collection. Kylie said that in the past she's gravitated towards darker fabrics, but in this collection one of her favorite looks is an ivory-colored two piece with embroidered details. Kendall’s pick from the collection happens to be one of my favorites as well — a dark, floral romper.

After perusing the 48 pieces the Kendall & Kylie collection features on PacSun’s website, I rounded up my top five favorite pieces and the perfect places to wear them this summer. They'll make your selfies look instantly more chic.

1. Wide Leg Jumpsuit

This jumpsuit is the perfect combo of light colored flowers with a black backdrop and, when paired with a chunky heel or summer wedge, could easily be your next date night outfit. The black makes the look perfect for night, but the flowers still keep it fresh and summery. Plus, it's got that under $50 price tag I mentioned earlier.

2. Cold Shoulder Tunic

If music festivals and concerts are on your list of summer activities, this white tunic should make it's way to the top of your shopping list. Pair it with gladiator sandals, long layered necklaces, and the ever popular flowered headband seen at festivals. Boom —the perfect concert ensemble.

3. Embroidered Tap Shorts

Summer and BBQs are two things that have always gone hand in hand for mem and these embroidered tap shorts are the perfect way to ensure you arrive looking casual and chic at the same time. Pair these shorts with a basic tank and flat sandals to keep the laid-back theme going.

4. Shrunken Muscle Tank

The collection features a few muscle tanks, but this one is my absolute favorite. This daydreamer tank is versatile enough to work for many different occasions this summer. A tank that's easy to throw on is perfect for hitting the beach or pool. I'd pair it with high waisted jean shorts and brightly colored sandals that could make the look both day and nighttime ready.

5. Pleated Maxi Skirt

Last but certainly not least this pleated maxi skirt in a pale peach color would be great for a girl's night out. The high slits and flowy silhouette make the skirt fun and flirty — not to mention easy to dance around in. Pair it with a crop top or basic tee and easily dress it up or down with either flat sandals or a sky-high wedge.
