Of Course Rihanna Celebrated Like This

Rihanna has been the name on everyone's mind on Tuesday. Now that we've all caught sight of the see-through dress Rihanna wore to the CFDAs, we pretty much have to admit that if anybody could pull off glamorous nudity, it would be Rihanna. It's far from the most shocking news we've ever heard about the starlet anyway and, quite frankly, she looks damn good — and she probably knows that. She proved as much in a video that her hairstylist posted to Instagram on Monday, in which Rihanna tweks in her see-through dress like the absolute boss that she is.

The twerking only made up the tail end of the video, which mostly featured Rihanna strutting around in her dress and dancing to the cheers of her friends backstage after winning a CFDA award. Twerking is a word that has been around for a longer time than most people think, but it really came to the forefront of the public's attention when Miley Cyrus infamously twerked with Robin Thicke on stage at the VMAs. Since then, Cyrus has twerked so much and so often that she's probably the first person that comes to mind when twerking comes up.

If Rihanna was trying to relieve Miley Cyrus of her crown, then she definitely succeeded with this video. After all, Miley Cyrus might have shocked the world the first time she twerked due to how completely bizarre it was to see Disney's Miley Cyrus barely dressed and fellating a foam finger, but Rihanna has been working the bad girl angle for most of her career. It works for her and she does it well.

Ball's in your court now, Miley Cyrus. Let the twerking commence.
