Watch Zach Braff & Donald Faison Sing "Guy Love"

by Sam Rullo

Any true Scrubs fan knows that the hospital-set comedy series wasn't really about doctors or patients or romantic relationships, it was all about J.D. and Turk. The two main characters shared a male friendship that cannot be compared to anything else on TV, before or after Scrubs. But no one loves Turk and J.D. more than the actors who played them, Donald Faison and Zach Braff. The two have never been shy about showcasing their real life friendship and on Monday night, came together for something that should make all Scrubs fans very happy. At a screening for their new film Wish I Was Here, Faison and Braff performed "Guy Love" together.

Even if you haven't seen Scrubs since it ended in 2009 (Season 9 doesn't count), you probably still remember much of the friendship anthem that first debuted in the Season 6 episode "My Musical." No matter how you feel about Wish I Was Here or Braff using Kickstarter to fund it, know that it was all worth it in the end, because we got to see Turk and J.D. sing "Guy Love" one more time.

The actual performance took place at a screening of Wish I Was Here in Austin for local backers. Braff wrote, directed, and stars in the film, while Faison has a role in it as well. But none of that really matters, the song is just about guy love, between two guys. Watch the video below and prepare for a flood of Scrubs-related emotions.
