Ray J Arrested For Battery & Vandalism

If it wasn't already clear, then this latest round of Ray J news makes it quite apparent that the singer needs a major intervention. According to TMZ, Ray J was arrested for battery Friday night after an incident in the bar area at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Reportedly, he refused to leave the premises after making a scene, and police were called. Unfortunately, the situation escalated upon their arrival as Ray J refused to cooperate, reportedly spitting on a police officer and kicking out a patrol car window. He was then booked on resisting arrest, trespassing, vandalism and battery.

What is going on with Ray J? He was arrested in 2011 after an altercation with a rapper in Vegas and reportedly butted heads with Whitney Houston's family during the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. At this point, he's gone way overboard with the ridiculous stunts.

Who knows what the source of his outbursts are, but Iet's hope this arrest isn't the first in a series of tantrums spawned by Kimye's rejection of his sleazy wedding gift. If that's the case, we can certainly expect more outbursts from him in the future because it seems he will not rest until his attention whoring elicits more than an eye roll from the newlyweds, who are probably busy checking their designer duds in the mirror and dashing off to their next honeymoon adventure.

What we do know is that Ray J needs to get it together fast. His antics already overshadow his music, which has been sporadically released over the past couple years. But with songs like "I Hit it First," that's probably a good thing. On the other hand, obsessing over your ex who's married twice since your breakup and fighting with the police — there's absolutely nothing good about that.
