She's Got Some Good News!

It's time to get your nostalgia filters on again. When we found out that Rachel Bilson was pregnant, we all got The OC feels no matter how happy we were for her. Now, according to Us Weekly, Hayden Panettiere is pregnant as well and all I can think about is little Claire Bennet from Heroes. They saved the cheerleader, they saved the world, and now Panettiere is going to become a mother just in time for the Heroes spinoff to be in television. Someone pass around the Kleenex.

Panettiere is expecting her first child with her fiance, Wladimir Klitschko, whom she got engaged to in 2013. The two met at a book party in 2009 and dated for two years before breaking up in 2011. They reunited in a more permanent sense with the 2013 engagement and have been happily together ever since.

Again like Bilson, Panettiere has spoken of her desire to start a family in the past. Unlike some, who might see motherhood as the end of an era or as a scary transitional period in one's life in which things overwhelmingly change, Panettiere has always seemed to look on being a parent as just the next of life's great adventures.

"Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing, and there's nothing that I feel like I can't accomplish while having children in my life," said Panettiere in a 2013 issue of Glamour. That statement is also promising for fans of her current show, Nashville, although there's been no word yet about how the show plans to handle her soon-to-rise baby bump.

This child will be the first for both Klitschko and Panettiere.
