The New York Post- that infamous, pun-drenched rag, both mocked and distributed daily in New York City- has kind of outdone itself.

In the midst of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding mania, the Post was quick to provide the kind of coverage it felt the couple truly deserves, and it is brutal. Read the full text of the article, entitled "ALERT (Yawn): Kimye Weds" below, and get ready to cringe at the shade of it all!

Two jackasses got married in Italy Saturday. Sex-tape star Kim Kardashian, 33, wed egotist Kanye West, 36, in a wedding opulent enough for Florence’s Medici dynasty and tacky enough for reality TV. They were betrothed at Florence’s 16th-century Fort di Belvedere castle. Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner walked Kim down the aisle. The republic still stands.

OUCH! Looks like the claws have come out and the Kimye wedding fatigue backlash is fully underway. Not that we blame them, we've been hearing about nothing besides the Kimye wedding (and the Kimye wedding guests, and the Kimye wedding location, and the Kimye wedding dress, etc, etc, etc) since Kanye proposed back in October. And, admittedly, this write-up was pretty funny.

But still, New York Post, that was way harsh.

No matter your thoughts on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as people, a big celebrity wedding is always fun to talk about, and with all of the tragic news out there in the world, we might as well enjoy the attention-diverting lighter stuff while we can!
