In the Kardashian-West wedding that has spared no expense or minute detail, it should come as no surprise that even the wedding bands are one of a kind. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding bands were custom-designed by Lorraine Schwartz, and sound very fancy indeed. West will wear a handmade gold wedding band, while Kardashian will now sport a diamond band, in addition to her bling-tacular 15 carat engagement ring. One almost wonders where Kim will even find room on her finger for more diamonds, but have faith, because if anyone can squeeze another carat or two on their digit, it's Kim Kardashian. More notably, Shwartz also designed the ring West gave Kardashian for their engagement, which means it is a truly wonderful time to be Lorraine Shwartz.
After all, celebrity friends who are in the habit of commissioning pricey custom pieces are perfect friends to have for a jewelry designer. What's more, just because the wedding jewelry is taken care is no indicator of a decline in future business. West clearly likes to be generous with his lady, as evidenced by his lavish Mother's Day display, so my guess is the flow of jewels from here on out will be every bit as jaw dropping as the meteor-sized rock on Kim's finger. If diamonds are a girl's best friend, both Lorraine Shwartz and Kim Kardashian have nothing to worry about in the way of good company. One is merely left to wonder: given how luxurious Kim's wedding band and engagement ring are, what will West and Schwartz do to top them for all the upcoming anniversaries? I for one hope Kim gets diamond encrusted sunglasses the next time round.
