Wait, Why Didn't Rob Go to the Wedding?

We knew that step-brother Brody Jenner wasn't going to be at Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kanye West in Florence, Italy, but it comes as a surprise to learn that Rob Kardashian wasn't at the Kimye wedding, either. TMZ filmed Rob as he exited the Los Angeles airport on Saturday, just as the wedding was underway thousands of miles away. Turns out, the 27-year-old reality star bailed on the ceremony. He was in Paris for the pre-wedding festivities, but allegedly fled before flying to Florence because of some "family drama."

What, exactly, that family drama is remains to be seen. Did mom Kris Jenner forget he was her son? Did Scott Disick make one too many jokes about Rob's appearance? Did Kim's best friend Jonathan Cheban steal Rob's seat on the family jet? Did North West puke on his tux? One thing's for sure, though: no matter what "drama" went down, it's likely Khloe Kardashian had his back. Their relationship on Keeping Up is really endearing and it's obvious the two siblings have a strong bond.

But if the supposed drama was so bad that Rob left, kind of makes you wonder why Khloe stuck around. She's his partner in crime.

Rob has had an unfair and rough go of it recently — his weight gain has been mercilessly mocked — and over the last few days, Kim, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner have all shown their support for their brother via kind tweets and Instagrams. Evidently, their support wasn't enough to motivate him to stay for the family event. It's a shame he wasn't able to enjoy what was ostensibly a lovely ceremony. Andrea Bocelli sang!

You sort of can't help but feel a little sorry for Rob and whatever's going on with him, here's hoping it's sorted out as soon as possible. And here's hoping it airs on Keeping Up, because lord knows whatever family drama happened at the wedding is going to make for excellent television.
