Adam Levine & Usher Are Too Hot For TV

Monday night, aka The Voice Finale Eve, Carson Daly shepherded us through a storm of approximately 76 performances. Ya know, a real "give 'em all you got, get really sweaty, and leave nothin' on the table" episode. And well I'll be! The three remaining vocalists did just that. Okay, fine. They didn't get that sweaty. Actually, that might've just been me. ANYWAY. Each contestant sang a viewers’ choice song, a song picked by their coach, and a coach duet. BUT WAIT! There’s MORE! Blake Shelton and Shakira performed a duet. BUT WAIT! There’s still MORE! Usher and Adam Levine performed a D’Angelo song. And all of it ended on time! Carson probably slept like an angel Monday night. A triumphant, time-keeping angel.

So what are my post-Finale Eve thoughts? For starters, I could stand to watch that Usher and Adam duet one million times in a row. Oh, what's that? You want to know who I think will be named the victor? Ah, right. Last Tuesday, I promised I’d make a prediction. Woof, I'm kicking myself for that one. I'm stomping and sulking. I don’t want to make my pick. But I am a lady of my word, so a pick I will make.

But before I do that, I will share each finalist's best performance (IMHO):

Jake Worthington: "Right Here Waiting"

AUGHHH the feelings. My BFF Shak and I noticed some breaks in his voice, but we LOVED 'em. It was both nuanced and powerful. Shak and I dug it.

Josh Kaufman: "Signed, Sealed, Delivered"

It was either this or "Set Fire To the Rain." The soul! The effortlessness! That gorgeous voice! I love me some Josh!

Christina Grimmie: "Can't Help Falling In Love With You"

Oops, I'm crying.

So who do I think will win? Jake has had many beautiful moments, but I can't help but lean toward Josh or Christina. What can I say? I'm a pop/R&B gal through and through. Augh. So sorry, Jake! Josh has knocked my socks off time and time again throughout the season, and Christina's belting never gets old. No sarcasm here. I could listen to her hit those notes for forever.

Between Josh and Christina? I've been rooting for Josh since the Blind Auditions, and I'd be stoked if he won. Even so, I think Christina's going to win (she's a powerhouse, "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You" was insane, she's a YouTube celeb, she has a huge fan base, et cetera). There you have it. My prediction: Christina will win. Maybe? I don't know. Ugh. THIS IS HARD.

AUGHHHHH picking a winner causes me physical pain. The only remedy? This Adam/Usher steam pot:

Just... I need a moment. To quote Voice guest Maya Rudolph: "How about that sexy little number?"
