He's Comin' Back To 'SNL'...As A Host!

It's always awesome when a former cast member returns to Studio 8H because that actor always seems right at home — comfortable, hilarious, and anything but stiff. And as we all know, there is nothing worse than watching the awkward, obligatory promos with someone who isn't a sketch comedy natural. But in Andy Samberg's Saturday Night Live promos for this week's episode — which, by the way, is the season finale — it's pretty clear that not only is he back, but he's right at home being silly, ridiculous, and jokingly self-congratulatory.

Kenan Thompson and Samberg make an excellent duo for this promo. Of course, references to the fact that Andy Samberg is Golden Globe Winning Actor, Andy Samberg, but the best parts are when the duo are just having a grand old time. The two do some momentary yoga, dance while gazing into each other's eyes, and take the day off to do frolic — and frolic they do! And there's a whole lot of Bette Middler. You'll see when you watch it.

But the real scene stealer? Andy Samberg's turquoise sweater.
