Katie Holmes Dresses Like a Disney Princess

It looks like Suri Cruise might have dressed her mother this year. Because Katie Holmes showed up at the 2014 Met Gala dressing just like a princess. More specifically, like a Disney princess. I mean, come on — any millennial who has grown up with early '90s Disney hits would have to admit: the actress formerly known as Tom Cruise, Holmes, looks exactly like Beauty and the Beast's Belle. Well, a homeless Beauty and the Beast's Belle, that is.

It's an interesting choice for the star, who made style waves during her marriage to the once-A-list Cruise for a mature sense of fashion. But perhaps the actress is trying to channel a more youthful image. Or, perhaps, she simply took a BuzzFeed list and found out she was a Belle and took the whole thing very, very seriously?

Of course, she's not the only one to be channeling the Mouse House. Anna Wintour's daughter, Bee Shaffer, channeled a very Cinderella-esque look, while Food Network celebrity chef Sandra Lee opted for something more suited for one of Cinderella step sisters.
