5 Ariana Grande Duets We Need
Looks like Ariana Grande is having a pretty good week. She performed at the iHeart Radio Music Awards (and left Luke Bryan SO not impressed) and was spotted making out with her ex, Jai Brooks just after the performance. Now, Grande has just dropped the news that she's bringing another guy into her life — her professional life, that is. It's the duet news that we all knew was coming eventually, but here it is: Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber will be singing a duet together. And excuse me if I'm not more excited.
Like many people in the world, I find Bieber's mere media presence insufferable, but apparently Grande does not. She and the Biebs have been friends for a while now, and both are currently under the management of Scooter Braun, so a collaboration was really inevitable. No word yet on what song the two are working on, but Grande did say this about the collaboration between her and Bieber:
Justin wrote it and he brought the idea to me. And I was really excited to hear it and I’m excited to work with him... I’ve wanted to work with him for a while. And I know it’s something our fans have been begging for for years now.
I'm sure that this is exactly what Beliebers (and whatever Ariana Grande fans are called) have been wanting, and good for Grande for giving it to them. That being said, this blogger feels differently. Who would I rather see Grande team up with? Here are 5 singers I'd rather see her join forces with.
Demi Lovato
Both ladies have huge voices, awesome hair, and very intense fan bases.
Miley Cyrus
Because I hope against all hopes that Miley's part would be done exclusively in rap, and I think that would be absolutely hysterical.
Justin Timberlake
Have you seen him and Ciara perform " Love Sex Magic?"
Selena Gomez
Sure, she has a great (and wildly improved!) voice, but really I'm putting her on this list because I think that this collaboration would throw Justin for a loop.
Pink
In many ways, these two are total opposites — Grande is bubblegum sweet while Pink is a little bit grittier. But there voices, when combined, could make for a very interesting sound. Just check out her collaboration with the sweeter-sounding Nate Ruess.
