Old Pics of Zanessa Will Make You Nostalgic

There was a time when Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron were the "it" couple. The two rose to success together during the 2006 High School Musical craze but stayed together until 2010, when the two split up due to their packed work schedules and bad timing. The two have since moved on (I mean, come on, it's been four years) with Vanessa dating Carrie Diaries cutie Austin Butler and Zac dating, well, lots of girls. And though the two had planned to stay friends after dating, Zac's recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter (in which he talked about his struggles with substance abuse, which he went to rehab for earlier last year) revealed that he is no longer in close contact with Vanessa.

I guess that's too be expected — the pair did break up over four whole years ago — but it does make me a little nostalgic for the former pair. Usually when a couple from a movie begins dating it feels very much "for the press" (see: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson) but Vanessa and Zac always looked like a real couple. There are approximately billions of photos of the two of them staring longingly into one another's eyes, both on and off the red carpet.
