Spidey Has a Really Funny Side

Just in time for the release of his new movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man himself (well, the actor) will be hosting SNL, and it's pretty clear that the show is going to be, well, amazing. You've got to check out Andrew Garfield's Saturday Night Live promos. The actor is a natural comic, even if Bobby Moynihan keeps pushing him for the drama.

With Garfield as the straight man, Moynihan gets him to do all sorts of silly things such as put on some goofy garb at the request of the "Comedy Doctor." It's funny, guys. Seriously.

Of course, there's also a reference to Garfield's girlfriend, Emma Stone, who has graced the NBC show's stage as a host, and there's a pretty great gag about just how good of a host she was. And in perhaps one of the funniest moments, the British actor does his best impression of an American host... and let's just say, Garfield's British host voice is way classier than his American host voice. Damn, another moment that makes me wish I was British.

It looks like we'll be in for an awesome show this Saturday. Plus, this week's episode features Coldplay as a musical guest.
