Cara Delevingne Has A Busy Year Coming Up

Another name has been added to the Peter Pan cast and this one is almost as surprising as Rooney Mara playing Tiger Lily. Cara Delevingne has been cast in Peter Pan, but it is not yet known what role she'll take on. Delevingne is primarily known as a model and a very popular one at that. While most models don't gain much fame outside of the fashion word, Delevingne has become known for her personal sense of style, quirky attitude, and relationship with actress Michelle Rodriguez. Oh, and her eyebrows. People are really into her eyebrows.

Delevingne may be one of the most popular models around right now, but can she act? Apparently Peter Pan director Joe Wright thinks so. He also cast her in his 2012 film Anna Karenina. And Wright isn't the only director who sees potential in Delevingne — she has three other films slated for 2014 and is rumored to be one more.

The three films, London Fields, Kids in Love, and The Face of an Angel, are all currently in post-production. In London Fields, about a woman who is able to predict her murder, Delevingne plays a character named Kath Talent alongside Amber Heard and Johnny Depp. Fellow model Lily Cole also has a role in the film. The second film, Kids in Love, is described as being about "rich kids who live a wild lifestyle filled with parties and drugs." Delevigne shared photos from the Kids in Love set back in August:

As for The Face of an Angel, Delevigne joins Kate Beckinsale and Daniel Brühl in a film about a journalist and a documentary filmmaker researching a murder.

Delevigne is also in talks to join the cast of Tulip Fever starring Christoph Waltz and Dane DeHaan.

With all of these films coming up, the acting thing doesn't seem to just be a blip on Delevingne's radar. Her modelling career is still going strong as well, so we'll have to see which profession she chooses first when a premiere date inevitably conflicts with fashion week.
