Aca-Bitches Will Love This Set Photo

It's getting closer, guys, and now we have proof that this sequel is actually happening and isn't just a fantasy. Rebel Wilson tweeted a picture from the Pitch Perfect 2 set, indicating that the cast, indeed, has started rehearsal. This, of course, means that we're in for the return of Becca and The Barden Bellas — cue "Cups" by Anna Kendrick, like, now.

The movie won't be here until May 2015, which unfortunately is slightly over a year away, but we know we'll be in for something pretty great. Elizabeth Banks will be at the helm of the feature, as she makes her directorial debut, and Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson will return as Becca and Fat Amy respectively; the majority of the rest of the cast will return, as well.

The pic Wilson tweeted, however, did not feature Kendrick, even though Kendrick is definitely returning to the movie. Back in February, she barely knew anything about what was going to happen in the script, but she was super psyched about returning, nonetheless. Kendrick just must not have been on set for this rehearsal — but, hey, the actress and singer (with dynamo vocal chops, whether she enjoys singing or not) is pretty busy with the upcoming musical movie, The Last Five Years and this Christmas's big-screen adaptation of Into The Woods . Essentially, Kendrick is busy fulfilling every musical theater nerd's movie adaptation dreams.

This isn't the first awesome tweet Wilson has shared with the Internet since the inception of Pitch Perfect 2. Back when she announced she'd be returning, she hilariously wrote:

So, I guess until May 2015 we'll all have to resort to posting Craigslist ads in hopes of forming our own female a cappella groups... or just banding our girlfriends together during happy hour. Yeah... that sounds like a better idea.
