She Just Had A Baby Girl

This is exciting news: Drew Barrymore just gave birth to a baby girl with her husband, Will Kopelman. Frankie Barrymore Kopelman is Barrymore and Kopelman's second daughter; she joins her big sister Olive to make the family even larger and happier.

Barrymore said in a statement to People :

Happy to announce that today we are the proud parents of our second daughter, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman [...] Olive has a new little sister, and everyone is healthy and happy!

Aww! Don't you love happy celebrity mamas? I know I do. Barrymore's new baby Frankie is lucky that she'll have a big sister — even if her birth did miss National Siblings Day by eleven days, since that amazing holiday is April 11. As someone with a sister, there is nothing better than having a sister, so Frankie and Olive are indeed lucky ladies.

And hey — what better way to celebrate the very recent fifteenth anniversary of Never Been Kissed than with a new baby?! — although, I'm sure she wasn't thinking that at the time of Frankie's birth. Perhaps one day Barrymore will get to show her daughters her movie collection.

Speaking of which, that's actually a thought she's had before. In November 2012, Barrymore mentioned that she looked forward to showing her baby Olive some of her movies. She said:

My first goal is to show [her] E.T. — I cannot wait until she’s old enough — and then Ever After, because I want her to see that you can rescue yourself.

What an awesome lesson for a mom to teach her baby girl.
