This Is What Actual Food Porn Looks Like

It's bound to happen — you open Instagram and scan your feed only to be inundated with photos of your friends' meals accompanied by the hashtag #FoodPorn. But no one in the photo is getting it on — the hashtag is equating the pleasures of delicious food with the pleasures of good sex, since both are likely to get your pulse pounding.

Well, producers over at The Bold Italic have had enough of this misused phrase, so much so that they created the video "This Is What Actual Food Porn Looks Like." This hilarious parody of the overused hashtag shows a banana and red pepper acting out a stereotypical pornographic video, pizza delivery man included.

Jessica Saia of The Bold Italic wrote: "Occasionally, someone will post a photo of a mutant cherry that looks like a butt, and it's like, okay, close enough; but for the most part, I'm sick of being lied to." As a result, she asked a film director and videographer to create the video, seemingly for the sake of her own sanity. And boy did they follow through.
