Another 'Boy Meets World' Star Is On Board
Ever since the Boy Meets World spin-off was revealed, news of the show has been more fun for fans of the original than for the kids who will make up the audience of the new iteration. Several special guests from the original series have already been confirmed and now another old favorite has been added to the list. Girl Meets World will feature bully Harley Keiner who teased Cory Matthews in the original series. Former actor Danny McNulty will reprise his role in the "later half of the first season," according to E! Online, and it seems things haven't fared so well for ol' Harley.
Girl Meets World will teach Boy Meets World fans a lesson we should have learned about 15 years ago (we're old now!): If you are a bully in school, you will end up becoming a janitor. Yep, Harley's time torturing the students of John Adams High caught up to him karmically and he now sweeps the floors of his old stomping grounds while Cory follows in Fe-he-he-he-ny's footsteps and teaches history at the school.
McNulty, on the other hand, stopped acting professionally after his time on Boy Meets World and, according to his IMDb page, now works as a bartender in Forest Hills, N.Y. But it sounds like McNulty was more than willing to take on the role of Harley again. Nearly a year ago in May 2013, he tweeted his interest in joining GMW's cast.
McNulty joins other Boy Meets World stars, Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, who play the parents of Girl Meets World's titular "Girl," Lee Norris as the nerdy Minkus, and Rider Strong as Cory's BFF Shawn.
Savage posted a photo on Instagram of himself with McNulty and Harley Keiner posted a few pics of himself in character as well including one with two of the show's new cast members.
And here's McNulty in action as Harley back in the day:
