This is getting terrifying: Apparently, Selena Gomez's stalker made it through the security at her California home again, one week after being arrested for attempting to break in. Previously, the man, 20-year-old Che Cruz, reportedly hid in the actress's guest house until Gomez, who heard sounds, phoned the police. He was promptly arrested on suspicion of trespassing and held in jail for seven days. The incident was no doubt scary for Gomez, but things have escalated since than and upon his release, Cruz went right back to Gomez's house on Friday only 8 hours after leaving prison. Fortunately for Gomez, he was arrested immediately.
Celebrity stalkers are nothing new, but Gomez seems to have more than the average star. Two months ago, 19-year-old Juan Daniel Garcia was also caught trespassing on Gomez's property before being escorted away by police. And in 2011, stalker Thomas Brodnicki claimed he had thought about killing her. Gomez now has a three-year restraining order against Brodnicki, and she might want to get one for Cruz also, considering he seems bent on visiting her no matter how many times he's arrested.
It's too bad Gomez and former-BFF Taylor Swift are on the outs, because Swift would certainly be able to lend advice on dealing with fanatical fans. She has a crazy stalker of her own, Timothy Sweet, who believes he's married to Swift and has threatened to kill any man who gets in the way of their made-up marriage.
Ugh, so creepy. Cruz is reportedly being held on $20,000 bail.
