Is He Still The Sexiest Man Alive After This?!

So... the sexiest man alive altered his appearance. Adam Levine has shaved half of his head. Like, hair is gone. WHERE DID IT GO?!!? Cue song. He demonstrated this new look that he is rocking (yes, ROCKING) at The Voice's Season 6 private concert, and... it's definitely interesting. It's not quite on the level of Skrillex's oddly trendsetting maine-not-quite-maine look that confounded folks two years ago, nor does it even deserve comparison to Natalie Dormer's new haircut (she shaved half of her head off for her role as Cressida in Mockingjay, parts 1 and 2), but nonetheless — it still warrants a DISCUSSION.

Okay, concession: it's comparable to Macklemore's 'do, except with only one side. Like, it's noncommittal! Shave both sides, man! Is this a metaphor?

Is it part of his attempt to maintain his status as the sexiest man that has a functioning pulse? Is he now equating "sexy" with "makes edgy hair choices?" Hmm. Or is he trying to have a silent sartorial (hair included) competition with his Voice co-judges (see: Usher's raccoon hat). Or could this be a request from his model fiance, Behati Prinsloo?

Either way, it's a drastic change, and worthy of a point-out. (And to answer the question above, the answer is likely "onto the floor at the hairdresser's, and then into the garbage can.")
