Snooki Is Still Around, Has Big News

There was a time when Snooki's claim to fame was getting arrested for day drinking on the beach. Fortunately for the residents of the Jersey Shore, Snooki's hard-partying days are behind her — for now, at least. Snooki — AKA Nicole Polizzi — is pregnant with her second child and she couldn't be happier about expanding her family.

This mom has certainly come a long way from her shore house debauchery days. Her first child with fiancee Jionni LaValle, Lorenzo, turns two this year, and during her pregnancy with Lorenzo, Snooki decided to push back her wedding. But Snooki has waited long enough to marry her Italian stallion (her words, not mine), and won't be pushing back her wedding because of this second pregnancy.

According to Snooki, she's embracing her pregnant body and is determined to keep her pregnancy body "strong and fit" for her wedding. Rather than pushing the wedding back and dieting on lettuce and air in order to make her "post-pregnancy body" wedding-dress "ready", Snooki would prefer to show off her bump and her healthy body. Good for her — we're sure she'll be glowing. From the pregnancy and the tan, of course.

And according to reports, Snooki will be having a Great Gatsby themed wedding, which is something we would definitely want to see. Unfortunately, some reports have claimed that the city of Garfield, New Jersey won't allow the reality star to film a segment from her wedding there. We guess we'll have to subsist on photos from the event — I, for one, can't wait to see a pregnant Snooki in a flapper-esque wedding dress.
