Dontcha know how excited we are for the miniseries premiere of FX's Fargo ?! So excited. SO.EXCITED, actually. Because there are a billion reasons to anticipate the continuation of the Coen Brothers' universe depicted in the film of the same name. From the impressive cast — which includes Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton, Bob Odenkirk, Glenn Howerton, Allison Tolman, Kate Walsh, Adam Goldberg, Oliver Platt, and Colin Hanks just to name a few (seriously) — to the equally-as-exciting storyline, there's little about this atmospheric dark comedy gem to dissuade a person from watching, really. And now — glory be! — we've got the first seven minutes right here, right now, for your viewing pleasure. Oh golly!

And just to confirm our suspicions from the trailer, everything you love about the Coen Brothers' original is there: the big, dark music; an expansive snowy vista; a half-naked man in the trunk of Thornton's car, and — of course — plenty of good ol' Minnesotan accents. We don't want to ruin it for you (shows like this are better left to the experiential part of life rather than the recapped-via-wordy-bits scenario), but we will implore you to take a peek, because — hoo boy if this show doesn't turn out to be one of our favorites of the season we'll be very, very surprised. After all, we agree with Thornton: TV is better than movies. Now hop to it! The show hits the small screen on April 15th.
