I hope you all have your affairs in order and are ready for the big awards push, because the momentum is building and there's no looking back now. The 2017 SAG Awards nominations are finally here, and it's becoming more and more clear which actors are going to dominate this award season. My favorite name to appear on the nominations list? Stranger Things ' Millie Bobby Brown, whose talents shone in the role of Eleven in the runaway Netflix hit. The young actress has been nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series alongside such names as Claire Foy, Thandie Newton, co-star Winona Ryder, and Robin Wright — and did I mention she's only 12 years old?
Like the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild Awards look at both television and film, and specifically honor performances, rather than projects in general, so you'll see both individuals and ensemble casts nominated for recognition. The nominees and winners are also selected by fellow performers and media professionals, which is why many actors list the SAG Award as one of the highest honors in the industry. To be nominated by your peers, who understand and value the work you do, is a great mark of recognition. It's also, as I mentioned, a strong indicator for what we'll see in terms of Emmys and Academy Award nominations, so keep your eyes peeled for Brown when the former list comes out, and take a look at the full list of SAG Awards nominees below.

53rd Annual SAG Life Achievement Award
Lily Tomlinson will be taking this one home, because, well, of course.
Congratulations to all of the nominees, and I can't wait to see who ends up taking home the trophies when the ceremony arrives. (Cough, Millie Bobby Brown.)
