'Jersey Shore's Ronnie & Khloé's Malika Are Dating

by Caitlyn Callegari

I was innocently perusing through my Facebook timeline, as one does, when I came across a photo of a certain Jersey Shore alum kissing a woman. Which shouldn't be a surprise right? Of course not. It's just that a particular hashtag caught my eye. You see, in the photo, Ronnie Magro was smooching his new girlfriend, and he made sure people knew that "#NahItAintSamSoStopAsking." Who is it, then, you ask? Well, as it turns out, Magro's new girlfriend is Malika Haqq, who also happens to be a reality TV star herself seeing as she's a Keeping Up With The Kardashians staple.

To refresh your memory, Haqq is Khloé Kardashian's best friend and a frequent presence on KUWTK, while Ronnie Magro was one half of the explosive Ron and Sam Jersey Shore couple. But apparently that Jersey Shore ship has long sailed, because there's now a KUWTK and Jersey Shore crossover of sorts. Like, who on Earth anticipated that these two reality shows would collide in such a monumental way? Not I, folks. Not I. At the same time, I kind of love it. It's everything reality TV is about — shocking plot twists that keep us talking for weeks. So, on that front, kudos, you two.

Though, their romantic connection seems a little less out of the blue when you consider that they met because of their respective fame — literally. The pair met while filming a season of Famously Single, which turns this unexpected but potentially entertaining out of left field pairing into something a lot more understandable. I mean, you wouldn't expect Magro to be shopping at Dash or anything, you know?

Kardashian's Snapchats from earlier in the week may have hinted at Haqq having a new relationship. Kardashian kiddingly calls out her bestie for "avoiding" and "dodging" her, but perhaps Haqq had a good reason. Maybe she's been seeing Kardashian less because she's been seeing Magro more.

The couple must know how surprising the meeting of their two respective reality TV worlds is, because they explained to E!,

"We had a lot in common from the start and it was an instant friendship. The attraction quickly became a mutual romance. Our support for one another through this challenging experience made us strong in a very short period of time. We had an opportunity to really get to know each other living in such close quarter. Our family and friends are aware that we are together and extremely supportive of our relationship."

And, you know, despite the vastly different shows they come from, if it works for them that's all that matters. Especially if it works out in our favor and we get to see the boisterous Magro appear on an episode of KUWTK.
