Will 'BiP' Stars Grant & Lace Get Back Together?
I might be one of the few members of Team Grace, but I really was rooting for Lace Morris and Grant Kemp to make it work. I loved them both when they appeared on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, so I was happy to see them find love with each other on Bachelor in Paradise. Needless to say, I was pretty upset when I heard that they broke up, but I can't help wondering if Lace and Grant will end up getting back together.
I can't be the only one who was thinking that, right? And it doesn't really seem too far-fetched. I mean, come on. They did a joint interview discussing the demise of their relationship, so clearly they are cool with each other. And if you read the interview, it's obvious that there is still a lot of love there.
In their Entertainment Tonight interview, Lace said, "It’s just not the right timing. We have so much love for each other, and it’s weird because the chemistry is there, and I’m thinking, ‘Why can’t we make this work?'"
That's exactly what I'm thinking, too!
Lace also said, "I think he’s an amazing man. I’m super sad that it ended, but I know it’s for the best right now.” See? "Right now."
Grant added of whether they might get back together, "I think the odds are definitely against us. But I know the person that she is. That’s the person I wanted to marry."
There is a lot of pressure on Bachelor couples to end the season with an engagement and immediately plan a wedding. That is way too much for me to handle as a viewer, so I don't know how the cast members can deal with it. It just really seems like they were moving way too far, way too fast and got overwhelmed. I think that is totally understandable, and I can see them taking a little time apart to regroup — and then reuniting.
Obviously, I am just a viewer and do not have a ton of insight when it comes to the ins and outs of their relationship, but I am definitely rooting for Grace to get back together. The chemistry between the two of them is undeniable, so now we just have to hope that absence really does make the heart grow fonder. Plus, there's no way they can look at those tattoos every single day and not think about getting back together, am I right?
