It just doesn't seem like the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show would be the same without T. Swift, right? Well, it looks like fans are going to finally find out what it will be like without the singer. If you're wondering if Taylor Swift attended the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Nov. 30, then I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it doesn't look like she did. Unlike in the past when she performed at the 2013, 2014, and 2015 runway shows, 2016 is without the 1989 singer. That's not to say the VSFS didn't score some fantastic performers, including Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, and Bruno Mars. Though, for those who always look forward to seeing the 26-year-old pop star at the event this will be a major bummer.
Despite Swift (and her BFF model Karlie Kloss) not being in attendance, maybe Swifties will feel better knowing that part of the "Bad Blood" artist's squad is at the VSFS. That's better than zero Swift affiliation, right? Those squad members include Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldrige, and Martha Hunt. It's no secret that Swift has a lot of friends — and I mean a lot — and whenever any of their names are mentioned who doesn't think of Swift?
Anyways, it's basically like Swift is there in spirit, because you know she is all about supporting her friends — and women in general. "I believe women are at our best when we support each other — so I'm proud to give you my list of the ones who excite and inspire me," she told Glamour UK for its June 2015 issue, in which she selected her "Women of Tomorrow." Hadid, Hunt, and Aldridge most definitely know Swift has their backs no matter where she is, whether that's in Paris with them or at home hanging with her cats.
Whether or not she is there in the flesh, there is no doubt Swift is cheering on her three friends. Seeing as squad member Kloss also isn't there, maybe those two will get together and watch the VSFS when it airs on Dec. 5? Heck, maybe Swift, Kloss, Hadid, Hunt, and Aldrige will have a viewing party for it. That sounds like them, doesn't it?
See? Swift, who is basically an honorary Victoria's Secret angel, doesn't even need to be in attendance for her presence to be recognized — and obviously missed.
