Here's Hallmark's Countdown To Christmas Schedule
Thanksgiving, get out of the way: It's the holiday season now. And you know how I know? Because the Hallmark Countdown to Christmas schedule is packing a round dozen of their original TV Christmas movies into each day of programming, meaning that you could wake up, watch twelve straight hours of holiday goodness, and then, on weekends, see the premieres of this year's brand new original movies. You might be thinking: How on earth could there possibly be enough of these original films to fill an entire month? Well, the answer is simple — never underestimate how much a network with the same name as a greeting card company is devoted to the message of one of the biggest American holidays.
While actual Christmas may be just as stressful and expensive as it is heartwarming and fun, in the world of Hallmark originals, the holidays are the perfect time to bake some cookies and fall in love, help a lonely orphan and fall in love, or... win an ice carving contest and fall in love. One of the best parts about their movies is that the holiday justifies the narrative use of magic, magical-seeming coincidences, or magical Santas, and Hallmark's schedule is filled with lovelorn couples who are one magical intervention away from finding their happily ever after. And in addition to rerunning its greatest hits, Hallmark has several brand new additions to the Countdown to Christmas canon (in bold below), so there's no way you'll miss even a second of the holiday glory. (All times are in ET.)
