Get Cute With The 'Glee' Cast As They Head to NYC
Glee is officially no longer set in Lima, Ohio. Thank goodness. The show will be moving full-time to New York City (though still filming the bulk of its on-screen time in Los Angeles), and from this Glee behind-the-scenes video, it seems the move came with some good vibes within the cast — as well as a time jump.
The video's "hosted" by Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet, Glee's resident BFF bros. They take us through Glee's first days of post-Lima New York City filming, including their singing of "Best Day Of My Life" in Times Square, complete with their faces flashing above them. We also get some prerequisite exposition, which reveals that there will be a time jump of more than just the summer after graduation: The former glee club members are now solidly ensconced in New York winter (or late fall, possibly), and in the time we missed, Rachel's been out of town doing runs for Funny Girl, Blaine and Kurt have been practicing their domestic couple skills, and now that Rachel's back, she's moved back into the loft.
Glee's had its ups and downs throughout the years, but even as someone who's repeatedly jumped ship, I have to admit I'm intrigued to see what they do with these kids full-time in the Big Apple.
