The Velvet Rihanna Creepers Come In These Colors

by Amy Sciarretto

You can't argue with a winner. Rihanna's Puma Creepers have been a hit, so much so that the sneakers were named Shoe of the Year. It was a much-deserved honor, for sure. The constantly sold-out kicks have come in all black, black and white, pink, green, all white, and more in the past. Most pairs came in suede fabric, while the all-white pair of Creepers was leather. The brand is launching a velvet version of the Puma Creepers on Thursday, Dec. 8 and there are three fresh colorways. What colors are the velvet versions of the Rihanna Creepers?

The kicks come in black, burgundy, and cement. Black is exactly what it says it is. The burgundy pair is a rich, vibrant, and deep red. It has a wine x berry vibe to it. The cement pair is a charcoal gray and it slays, IMO.

All three colors are stylish and can add a fashion-forward upgrade to any basic ensemble. For real. The velvet Rihanna Puma Creepers will be available via the Puma site and via official Puma retailers. They cost $150, per the press release Bustle received. The exact on-sale time has yet to be confirmed, but we will keep you posted.

For now, let's enjoy a look at the shoes and the new hues.

What a trio! Each has the ability to elevate any basic athleisure ensemble to the next level and not just because of that platform sole. The colors and textures look expensive and add a dose of luxury to a basics ensemble.

It's all about the Creeper profile and silhouette, namely that thick and ridged platform sole.

The soles match the actual color of the sneaker for each pair.

Despite being an all-black devotee, I actually dig the Cement pair the best. It's such a unique take on gray. Happy shopping on Dec. 8.
