Color Changing Hair Dye Is Now A Thing

by Zoe Weiner

Have you ever wished you could split your time between being a blonde and being a brunette? Thanks to a genius hack from one beauty-guru on Reddit, it's now possible. For anyone who feels like changing their hair with the seasons isn't quite often enough, this new dye trend takes things to a whole new level. You can now change your hair to fit your mood with color changing hair dye, and all it takes is a hair flip.

As POPSUGAR first reported, Redditor Moniquey has figured out how to rock two totally different hair colors at once, because, as she puts it, "Why not have both?" She achieved the look using a split-dye style (remember hidden rainbow hair? It's kind of like that). Half of her hair is dyed bright pink and the other is deep cerulean so that when she parts it to either side her her whole head takes on the look of the top-laying color. For anyone who is as indecisive as I am about their hair (and about everything in life in general) this trick is basically a beauty dream come true.

You can use the hidden-dye trick for a little bit of "business in the front, party in the back" action, so you keep things looking professional at work or in class, and then show off your wild side once the weekend hits.

This two-tone look a multi-colored win/win, which means your mom can only be half mad at you when she finds out you dyed your hair hot pink again.
