Move over Puma Creepers. It's time for those platform kicks to step aside for a high-heeled reprise! Rihanna partnered with Manolo Blahnik for a denim-heavy shoe collection, dubbed "Denim Desserts," back in May. Rihanna and Manolo Blahnik have created a second shoe collection, called "Savage," and it's totally different, aesthetically speaking. The new range is inspired by Timberland work boots, according to Women's Wear Daily.
The duo's first range of footwear was a prestige and pricy collection of super sexy heels, because duh, and it included those thigh-high boots that Rih felt Jennifer Lopez would wear better than she ever could! The debut Rih x Manolo collection certainly turned heads so it makes sense that they would re-up. If you are able to splurge on a pair, well, your winter shoe wardrobe just got sexier. What's in the new Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik collab?
It's a limited edition collection of winter-ready and furry boots. There are three pairs of boot that come in neutral hues and they will be available as of Wednesday, Nov. 16. They will be shoppable at Blahnik boutiques and via the Manolo Blahnik site.
According to WWD, there's Fallon, which is an update of Blahnik's '00s-created, Timberland-style boot with a stiletto heel. It has a fur trim and comes in brown and ivory hues. So this is a double encore for Blahnik — with Rihanna and with this style.
Then there is Dominique and it's another thigh-high style, since Rih and Blahnik, who became a household name thanks to his work on Sex and the City, seem to favor that silhouette.
This version is lined with sheepskin and is comprised of black pony skin, which has been laser-cut with a brocade style.
Rounding out the trio is Alexis, which is a lace-up, knee-high boot trimmed in all sorts of fur.
Who knew winter boots could be so damn hawt? Remember, J. Lo wore Blahnik's high-fashion Tims in her "Jenny From the Block" video.
